FLICKR

Oh my God. How cool is Flickr. I am going to race home this afternoon and upload ALL my photo's. I still have my honeymoon photo's on my camera from 2 months ago. This is the best thing. I have photo's on USB's, I have photo's on CD's, I have photo's still on the camera, I have photo's in the old fashioned albums. I am going to make that leap into the future of photo's. Boy am I going to be busy this weekend....housework? Nahhh it can wait.

LEARNING 2.0 PART 2.O

What do you hope to learn from the program?

I hope to learn what the younger generation are into. I think that we really need to connect to the younger kids. If I can do that by understanding what they are into I think it will help

What do you think about Lifelong Learning?

I think it is fantastic. We all need to keep learning to stay on top of what is going on around us or otherwise we end up being left behind. And that isn't going to help anyone.

What other blogs have you discovered? What do you like about them?

I love that your blog can be about anything or nothing. I have looked at a variety of blogs but I don't have a favorite really. They are all good in their own way. I have mainly looked at other Learning 2.0 blogs. But over the weekend I hope to play around a lot more and discover new and exiting blogs.

Can you see a use for blogs inside the Library?
I can see a use for them. Mainly with teens and younger children. But that is my area. I am sure that other sections will find them very useful as well.

Learning 2.0

Well I think this whole experience is great...even if this is only my second day at doing this. I have heard of blogs, but never really knew what they were about. And now I have created my
own Blog. I am so impressed with myself.

I think that this is a fantastic experience and everyone should do this. I have always felt left behind with technology. So many new things keep popping up. I think it is important to keep up with what's hot at the moment. Especially working in the Childrnen's library. Because if you want to know about new computer technology.....ask a teenager. We really should keep up to date with what they are doing. If they love blogs then we should create them.
